 Its Official! After 2 great years in ArmA2, The Third Infantry Division has decided to move forward to Battlefield 3! Our time in ArmA2 has seen us face with many good times and challenges to over come, as well as a huge step outside of our normal comfort zone. We met some really great people and communities, and were welcomed with open arms. We learned a lot about our identity, and the strength and leadership of the character of our men as well. As we grow older and closer as a unit, our trials in and out of game continue to strengthen our bond as brothers. One of the overarching traits about the 3rd ID has always been our ability to adapt. Today marks a momentous day in the history of the Third Infantry Division. Our 10th year anniversary!The dedication and hard work of well over 150 members who have called themselves "Marne Dogs," has been absolutely quintessential to the growth of our humble realism gaming unit. Their devotion to the ideals of respect, brotherhood, teamwork and leadership has helped to carry us to a place where the [3rd ID] tag is recognized as a stalwart example of excellence in whatever community we are a part of. We have played many different games, ranging from Day of Defeat, to Call of Duty (1, 2, 4) to our most recent destination, ArmA2. In DoD, the 3rd ID were pioneers for tactical realism.
