It's official!

The 3rd ID has switched over to the newest expansion for ArmA2, Operation Arrowhead. The game takes place in Takistan, a fictional recreation of Afghanistan. It features new weapons, vehicles and features. Including the US Army and all new desert based combat.

We welcome all visitors to our site to join us on our server for a bit of tactical play every Sunday at 8:00pm EST for our open drills. We are always looking for tactically minded people to join in, whether you intend to enlist, or just have a good time!

Third Infantry Division

The time has come once again for war. Armed Global Warfare's Campaign 3, officially known as Operation: Panthera Rising, has opened enlistments to the public today. Panthera Rising will be simulating a war between the American 10th Mountain Division and the Russian 106th Guards Air Division on Panthera Island, a tropical island loaded with rolling mountains and winding rivers.

The 3rd Infantry Division's role in this campaign will be as an Air Cavalry unit for the 10th Mountain Division, using the call-sign Blue Dragons. As Air Cavalry we will be using AH-6 and MH-6 Little Bird helicopters to insert small teams quickly into the area of operations. When on the defensive we will also be acting as a quick reaction force in the event of an opening in the enemy positions or a break in our own.

1.) To start playing, you must first create an account on the Armed Global Warfare website by following this link: AGW Site. 3rd ID member's names should be 'Name.3ID'. The forum will automatically change your name to fit the unit you join later.

2.) After you have registered on the forums, you must enlist in the 10th Mountain Division (Blue Team) by clicking HERE then filling out the form that follows.

3.) Once you have done that post the required information in the Blue Army Sign In thread HERE.

4.) Be sure to review the Army & Tournament Rules post HERE. before playing to avoid conflict.

5.) To be able to play in Campaign 3 you must also have the Little Birds and Panthera Island addons installed HERE and HERE. The server also allows some client side modifications to be used, all of which are fair to the tournament, they are linked HERE.

In addition, you will be given access to the recruit training forum, where most of your attention for the duration of BCT will be directed for things such as news, updates, plans, etc. NOTE: There are several threads in the Recruit Training Forum that you will need to reply to.

Please keep in mind that you now all wear the blue and white stripes on your shoulders. Remember that how you present yourself, is how you present the 3rd ID! Please honor our history and tradition with this in mind.
